Moe Cheramie

Moe Cheramie is a veteran sales executive with more than 37 years of experience in the seafood and frozen prepared foods industries. He holds a degree in microbiology and served in the U.S. Army at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.

Moe began his food-industry career as a part-owner and manager of five retail, wholesale, and catering seafood markets in Las Vegas, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, and McLean, Virginia. He later specialized in shrimp sales to retailers as a seafood trader with Ocean to Ocean Seafood and spent three years consulting for the National Grocers Association, helping retailers build successful seafood departments.

In 1989, Moe became instrumental in the growth of Chef’s Choice, an early frozen multi-serve dinner brand that helped establish the category. Following the brand’s sale to Aurora Foods in 1999, he served as Aurora’s National Brand Development Manager through 2001. He then became part-owner and Vice President of Sales for International Frozen Foods, home of the Culinary Delights brand, where he remained until the company dissolved in 2014.

Since 2014, Moe has served as Vice President of Sales for Skillet Meals at Choice Foods, Inc., continuing a career defined by category expertise, brand development, retail strategy, and food-industry sales leadership.
